WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Rain or Stars, the show will go on. Whether it looks like rain (or not), we recommend you bring your umbrella, and light rain gear. Come prepared for any eventuality. As Mark Twain once said, “Water, taken in moderation, cannot hurt anybody”.

We have some complimentary rain ponchos, but we do recommend you bring umbrellas if the weather looks inclement. Keep in mind that this is outdoor seating, and that the audience portion is not covered; we encourage you to come prepared with a light jacket and rain gear in the event that the weather turns inclement and/or the temperature drops when the sun sets. We want you to be comfortable!

WHAT TIME DOES THE CONCERT START?

All of our concerts start at 8:00 PM unless otherwise noted on your ticket.  The concert bowl will open at 7:00 PM so you can begin selecting your seats.

If you are attending a Cellar Dinner at Jackson-Triggs Winery or the Barbecue at Inniskillin Winery please note that dinner begins promptly at 5:30 PM.

As it is an outdoor venue, it is very casual, and comfort is the key. Keep in mind that this is outdoor seating, and that the audience portion is not covered; we encourage you to come prepared with a light jacket and rain gear in the event that the weather turns inclement and/or the temperature drops when the sun sets. We want you to be comfortable!

IS THE AMPHITHEATRE WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, there is wheelchair and assisted seating available in our amphitheatre. If you require wheelchair seating - or have any other special seating needs - please call 905-468-4637 extension 2.

SHOULD WE BRING LAWNCHAIRS AND UMBRELLAS?

WE WILL PROVIDE CHAIRS. There is a reserved seating section for those who have pre-booked our Jackson-Triggs Cellar Dinner and our Wine Club members (please ensure you book your tickets with the name exactly how it appears on your Wine Club membership). We have some umbrellas for purchase and complimentary rain ponchos, but we do recommend you bring umbrellas if the weather looks inclement.

HOW EARLY MUST I ARRIVE?

First of all, BE PREPARED to allow lots of extra travel time as performances are typically Saturdays, and often on long weekends when traffic is at its worst!

The "bowl" itself opens at 7:00 PM allowing for plenty of time to make your way into the theatre and be seated. We employ ushers to assist you with seating if necessary. Those arriving after the show begins may not be seated until there is a suitable "break" in the performance, as determined by the amphitheatre manager.

CAN I GET SOME INFORMATION ON DINNER OPTIONS?

The Cellar Dinner begins with a wine and cheese reception at 5:30 PM in our traditional barrel cellar. There is also the Inniskillin Barbecue that begins at 5:30 PM on the Inniskillin Winery Piazza. These dinner experiences must be pre-booked at the time of ticket purchase.

 This year we have broadened our wine and culinary options. Please check options our website for additional details! Tokens may be purchased in advance for wine and concession item but will also be available for purchase in the concert bowl after 7:00 PM.

The approximate running times of our shows, including any intermissions, is 2 hours.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE AMPHITHEATRE?

Generally, we do not set age limits for any of our productions. Parents are reminded, however, that most live, professional theatre, unless specifically advertised as being for children or "for the whole family", is intended as adult entertainment and may not be enjoyed by, or be suitable for, children. Please be aware that if you do bring a young child and that child creates any disturbance, you may be asked to leave the amphitheatre.

DOES MY CHILD NEED A TICKET? CAN HE SIT ON MY LAP?

Everyone in a live theatre audience, regardless of age, must have a ticket. This is the case even if the child sits in your lap.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES OF THE SHOW?

No. Cameras, video cameras and any other sound or image-recording devices are all strictly forbidden in amphitheatres. If you bring one in and attempt to use it you may be asked to leave the amphitheatre.

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR CHILDREN, STUDENTS OR SENIORS?

We feel that our events are of high quality and excellent value for money. Ticket pricing is determined by the event and no, there is no variable pricing by concert at the amphitheatre.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS?

Due to the fact that we are a licensed establishment, by municipal Health and Safety Standards we are to be the sole provider of food. We are offering dining experiences at the winery before the show and our Tasting Gallery will be open until 7:45 PM offering wine and light fare for purchase before the performance. Before and during the performance our concession under the marquee will be open.

IF I BUY WINE IN THE BOUTIQUE CAN I DRINK IT WHILE I WATCH THE PERFORMANCE?

No. Wine that can be consumed in the amphitheatre is available for purchase by the glass in the Hospitality Marquee by the seating area.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY CONFIRMATION LETTER OR TICKETS PDF?

After you purchase your tickets you will receive two emails automatically. The first email contains your order confirmation - This is not your ticket. Your tickets come in a second email called "EVENT TICKETS".  The "EVENT TICKETS" email will contain a .pdf attachment with your tickets. Please be sure to add tickets@jacksontriggswinery.com to your safe senders list to avoid having tickets end up in your junk mail. 

If you cannot find your tickets in your inbox or junk mail please email tickets@jacksontriggswinery.com with your name and confirmation number. Please note that as a security measure we will only re-send tickets to the original purchaser of the tickets. 

You must bring a copy of your tickets with you to the Amphitheatre. There is no will call and we will not have your tickets available to pick up at the box office.

No, sorry, as our concerts sell out quickly we are unable to “hold” or “reserve” tickets that are unpaid. Seating is "general admission" except for those that have booked the Cellar Dinner and our Wine Club members. This year, all tickets will be purchased online using major credit cards only (VISA, MASTERCARD OR AMERICAN EXPRESS).

Our amphitheatre is located just behind Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery. The winery address is 2145 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, L0S 1S0.
Parking is available at the Winery and in the plaza across the street for amphitheatre events. For most concerts we will be running a golf cart shuttle service to the amphitheatre from the parking lot across the street.

CAN I ASK THE CAST TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AUNT BETTY?

No, not while there is an audience in the amphitheatre. You may certainly ask the cast, crew and front-of-house staff to stay late and perform privately for you, if you dare!

IS A WINE TOUR INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE TICKETS?

No.  If you're interested in arriving early and taking a tour before the performance we run tours hourly on the half hour at Jackson-Triggs from 10:30-5:30 daily in the summer.

IS THERE AN INTERMISSION – WHAT HAPPENS AT INTERMISSION?

Most performances have a twenty-minute intermission at which point patrons may use the restroom facilities, and enjoy some wine and nibbles amongst the starlit ambiance of the winery and vineyard.

ARE THERE WASHROOMS NEAR THE AMPHITHEATRE?

There are portable washrooms located near the amphitheatre, or you may use the public restrooms in the main building just off the Great Hall.

CAN WE HAVE A TOUR AFTER THE EVENT ENDS?

No, tours are not offered after the show; however, we welcome to return the following day for a tour. During our summer season we offer tours every hour on the half hour from 10:30-5:30. Make a reservation by calling our concierge at 905-468-4637 X 5616.
