Although it is often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc is one of the stars of Niagara being the most widely planted red variety. The minerality of our soils shines through in these wines along with red raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant leaves.

2009 Black Series <i>Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon</i>

This is a complex, easy to sip, full-bodied wine displaying bold aromatics of red raspberry, cherry, eucalyptus and bell pepper. Ripe red fruit, dark chocolate and pepper are abundant on the lingering finish.

2009 Black Series <i>Meritage</i>

Our Meritage is full-bodied with complex red fruit, pepper and leather notes on the nose, with hints of plum, cherry, dark chocolate and spice on the palate. The wine displays a smooth, lingering finish.

2009 Gold Series <i>Red Meritage</i>

Our 2009 Meritage is blended with 35% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Marco harvested the best grapes from Heron Pond and Delaine vineyards, aged the wine for 16 months in select barrels to craft a full-bodied wine with dark red fruit, mocha and vanilla expression on the nose and palate.
