In Ontario, we produce both Shiraz and Syrah. Although the grape is the same, the resulting wines are very different. Shiraz tends to be more of a new world style with black pepper spiciness and big, ripe fruits. Syrah is softer and more elegant, with delicate white pepper notes, subtle fruits and more longevity.

Our Wines By TypeShiraz

Proprietors' Selection Shiraz

Deep garnet in colour, our Shiraz imparts rich aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry with hints of cracked pepper and a subtle touch of oak. Bold fruit flavours dominate this full-bodied wine while firm tannins complete the finish.

2008 Silver Series Shiraz

Our Silver Series Shiraz has bold white pepper, red fruit, vanilla and spice notes on the nose and palate, with a full-bodied robust mouth-feel and lengthy finish.

2009 Black Series Rich & Robust Red (Shiraz-Cabernet)

This wine has intense aromas of cherry, black currant, white pepper and raisins. The wine has an elegant balance, with fruity flavours and nice round tannins. It is a luxurious and elegant wine.
