Production Notes
The 2009 Meritage is a blend of 21% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 59% Merlot, and underwent 100% malolactic fermentation with select yeasts. Through the art of blending and aging the wine for 18 months in French & American oak barrels, the Meritage guarantees a wine of exceptional quality.
Winemaker Notes
Our Meritage is full-bodied with complex red fruit, pepper, and leather notes on the nose, and hints of plum, cherry, dark chocolate, and spice on the palate. The wine displays a smooth, lingering finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Ideal when served with grilled steaks, roast pork, lamb chops, pasta Bolognese and a variety of aged cheeses.
