Our Black Series showcases the depth and diversity of our winemaker's' experience in crafting wines that embody the Niagara terroir. Our "Rich & Robust Red" is a blend of the best robust reds of the vintage, displaying aromas of red fruit, pepper, and spice notes, with a fruit-forward flavour, full body, and rich lengthy finish. It is a well-balanced wine of quality.
Winemaker Notes
Our 2009 Rich & Robust Red is a blend of 51% Syrah, 38% Cabernet Franc and 11% Merlot harvested from select growers. The wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation with select yeasts. Through the art of blending and aging the wine for 12 months in French & American Oak barrels, we have vinified a wine of exceptional quality.

Ideal when served with pepper steaks, roast pork, rack of lamb, pasta Bolognese and a variety of aged cheeses.
