Our Wines Gold Series

Our Gold Series Merlot is a smooth, full bodied wine with dark cherry, blackberry, red raspberry and plum fruit, wrapped with mocha, leather and vanilla expressed on the nose and palate highlighted by elegant velvety tannins on the finish.

This wine displays aromas of succulent melon, grapefruit, and pineapple. Lively fruit flavours are also expressed in perfect balance on the palate with a soft, creamy texture and refreshing finish. A unique mouth feel is achieved through the harmonious combination of the varietals and the barrel aging process.

Our 2009 Meritage is blended with 35% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Marco harvested the best grapes from Heron Pond and Delaine vineyards, aged the wine for 16 months in select barrels to craft a full-bodied wine with dark red fruit, mocha and vanilla expression on the nose and palate.

An aromatic and complex wine with refreshing citrus notes accented by subtle vanilla and tropical undertones with an exceptionally long finish. An elegantly balanced wine, this is the perfect expression of the Niagara terroir.

This release is hand crafted in the time-honoured Méthode Classique and was ‘en tirage’ for 2 years. Bringing a 'shade of red' to refined bubbles and celebrating the renowned 2007 vintage, our Sparkling Merlot exudes fruity vanilla and toasty notes with a refreshing luxurious finish.

This elegant Pinot Noir displays intriguing flavours and complexity due to the oak surface to wine ratio of the barrel. Aromas of ripe red berries combine with vanilla cassis while on the palate luscious plum, red cherry, clove and rosehip are predominate. The finish is smooth, supple and lingering.

This stellar vintage of Pinot Noir is vivid red in colour, and displays distinct aromas of strawberry, cherry, and vanilla with plum, cherry and rosehip on the palate.

The Delaine Vineyard embodies the distinct terroir of the Niagara Peninsula. This wine is luminous gold with a rich viscosity enhanced by intense aromas of spiced orange marmalade, custard cream, and ginger. The luscious texture is poised with a bright acidity and offers a lingering, complex finish.

Soft crimson in colour, our Cabernet Franc Icewine displays alluring aromas of raspberry and plum with hints of figs. Full bodied, the intense flavours of berries and rhubarb marry with a touch of pepper and spice on the extended silky finish.
